CIMA has been serving banks as well as the biggest Italian industrial enterprises for 50 years.
Established in 1955 by its current President Mr Giuseppe Razzaboni, it has faced over these years the themes of security moving from the production of armoured door- and window-frames to the access controls by means of anti-robbery booths to the present and more sophisticated systems of cash severance.

With the "step by step" policy it has grown in years both in figures (more than 4500 installations of cash handling devices and over 5300 anti-robbery booths) and quality [with the creation of an important R&D department who enabled to concentrate and develop in-house the whole design both for electronics (hardware and software) and mechanics of the cash handling machines].The work of this staff has brought to the realization of different machines, among which the latest AST 7000 NT.
The company can list among its 250 Italian bank customers some primary groups such as Unicredito, BNL, Capitalia, Sanpaolo IMI, Banca Popolare di Sondrio, CARIGE, Gruppo Credito Valtellinese, Banco Popolare di Verona e Novara, Credito Emiliano, Banca Popolare Emilia Romagna, Lombarda...; it has reached important goals also at international level cooperating, for the diffusion of its brand name, with multinational companies like Gunnebo, Scan Coin and others.
